DESCRIPTION:Robert Connolly is an acclaimed Australian screen producer, director, and writer. His film The Dry was both a critical and commercial success, followed by the sequel Force of Nature. He followed this with the environmental “fable for all ages” Blueback, screening at the Toronto International Film Festival and Sundance Film Festival, followed by The Surfer which premiered in the Official Selection at the Cannes Film Festival in 2025.\n \nThrough his production company, Arenamedia, Connolly has directed and produced a wide range of acclaimed projects, including Balibo, The Boys, Romulus, My Father, and The Turning. His family Paper Planes was a huge commercial hit in Australian cinemas.
