James Hewison' November Kelvin Confidential hosted Special guest Mindy Meng Wang, a breathtakingly versatile Chinese/Australian Composer and world leading contemporary Guzheng Performing Artist. She was born and classically trained in China, and studied composition in the UK. She is a pioneer to bring the Guzheng (ancient Chinese harp) into many western genres such as experimental, Jazz, western classical, Electronic, pop and improvisation. In the UK she collaborated with many high-profile artists like Gorillaz and frequently performed in many significant venues like O2 Arena and Tate Modern in London and across Europe. Here Mindy performs regularly at OzAsia, Mona Foma, Dark Mofo, TEDx Sydney, AsiaTOPA festivals and collaborators include Regurgitator, Paul Grabowsky and Deborah Cheetham. Mindy is a cultural ambassador and promotes and advocates for a culturally diverse and inclusive music industry.
