We have invited some special friends to celebrate Bastille Day at the Kelvin Club by presenting the new guard of winemakers of the Bordeaux region, a counter (revolution) to the prevailing perceptions of the inaccessible and weighty crus of the old school.
There’ll be 6 wines on tasting, apéro “dînatoire” snacks with fromage from Maker & Monger, Mosaique Wines’ Thomas Gisbert discussing the seismic shifts in bordelais winemaking (+ his family’s domaine’s wines) with Diggin’ In The Cellars’ Ibrahim Khudeira, tunes by So Frenchy So Chic plus rare vinyl from Ibrahim + the Kelvin Club’s resident francophile James Hewison. Serge Thomann will provide the opening remarks from the frontlines at the Kelvin Club Bar.
