Our Melbourne Place home was originally built in 1873 as a warehouse by JB Watson. During the 1920-50s it was the broadcast and recording studio for 3LO (now 774), followed by the ABC, until 1946 and subsequently 3AW Radio. The Club took over both floors following their departure in 1956.

This non-voting form of membership is for an initial year to get a taste for the Kelvin Club experience before commencing Full membership upon renewal. Affiliate members enjoy:
This is available only to existing Full Members of the Club. Such Members may apply to the Committee to convert their membership to a Concessional Membership at or after the end of their first Full membership year. Such members enjoy the same rights as Full Members.
